The Drop: Why Flaio is Moving to Campaigns
Share
Fashion moves fast, but true craftsmanship takes time.
If you’ve been following Flaio, you know that this is a one-man show. I am the designer, the crystal applicator, the shipper, and customer support. Operating as a solo artist in a world of fast fashion requires doing things differently.
That is why Flaio is shifting to a Campaign Model.
What is a Campaign? Instead of guessing what styles you might want and holding inventory that gathers dust, we are now launching our most ambitious designs as limited-time projects.
Here is how it works:
-
We Launch a Design: I release a prototype of a new, high-concept piece.
-
You Back It: You place a pre-order to support the project.
-
We Make It: If the campaign hits its "Funding Goal" (a minimum number of backers), I get to work manufacturing your piece.
-
No Risk: If the campaign doesn't reach its goal, you get a full refund immediately. No harm, no foul.
Why is this better for you?
-
Higher Complexity: Because I know exactly how many units I need to make, I can design intricate, crystal-heavy patterns that I couldn't risk on a standard stock drop.
-
Zero Waste: We only create what is wanted. This is the most sustainable way to produce fashion.
-
True Exclusivity: Once a campaign closes, that design is locked. If you own a Campaign piece, you are likely one of only a handful of people in the world wearing it.
Thank you for supporting a slower, more intentional, and much more sparkly way of doing business.
